    2021

The renovation of two nearly identical apartments in Lisbon focused primarily on enhancing the relationship between spaces.
Constrained by a structural system of load-bearing walls, which made large open-plan areas unfeasible, the decision was taken to largely retain the existing layout. The intervention was therefore surgical and meticulous, centred on the reinterpretation of compositional elements and the refinement of construction details.
The project updates the way these typologies are inhabited, respecting their original structure while introducing new spatial relationships, with an emphasis on everyday living and spatial continuity.
